Contact, billing, and troubleshooting
Contact us
Fastest path is email. We typically reply within 1 business day.
When you email, include the email you signed in with, your app version (Settings → About), and a short description of what's wrong.
Subscription & billing
Subscriptions are managed by the Apple App Store, not by us. To cancel, change plan, or request a refund:
- iOS: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → nicoff
- iOS refunds: reportaproblem.apple.com
If you paid but Pro features did not unlock, tap "Restore" on the paywall. If that still does not work, email us with your App Store receipt attached.
Delete your account & data
In the app: Settings → Delete Account. This is irreversible: account, local device data, server-side record, and cloud backups are all removed.
If you cannot get into the app, email support@nicoff.app with the subject "Account deletion" and the address you signed up with. We will erase within 30 days (GDPR Art. 17).
Health & medical information
The recovery timeline and health progress shown in the app are educational estimates based on public research (CDC, U.S. Surgeon General). They are not medical advice and not a diagnosis.
Before changing medications, treatment, or quitting nicotine abruptly during pregnancy or with a chronic condition, consult your doctor.
Technical issues
- App does not launch: kill it from the app switcher, update to the latest version on the App Store, then reboot the device.
- Progress is not syncing: sign in with the same Apple / Google account on both devices. Guest accounts do not sync.
- Home-screen widget not updating: in app, open Settings → "Resync home-screen widgets".
Nicotine crisis support
If you are struggling right now, in the U.S. call 1-800-QUIT-NOW (1-800-784-8669) — free. In the EU, find your country quitline at ec.europa.eu. nicoff supports motivation and progress, but is not a substitute for a quitline or clinician.
