NicOff ("we", "our", or "the app") is a mobile application developed by o.cool.inc to help users quit nicotine. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have.

2.1 Account Data

  • Anonymous user identifier
  • Quit date
  • Nicotine type (cigarettes, vape, snus, etc.)
  • Daily consumption amount
  • Cost per unit / currency

2.2 Health Data

With your explicit consent, we may access data from Apple Health or Google Health Connect: heart rate, heart rate variability (HRV), blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), sleep data, and step count. This data is processed locally on your device to calculate your recovery score and is never sent to our servers.

2.3 Usage Data

  • Craving logs (time, trigger, coping method)
  • Mood check-ins
  • Achievement progress
  • AI coach interactions (processed by OpenAI)

2.4 Analytics

We use PostHog and Sentry for analytics and error tracking. Analytics data is collected only with your consent and helps us improve the app.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • Track your progress in quitting nicotine
  • Calculate money saved and health improvements
  • Provide personalized AI coach recommendations
  • Compute your health recovery score
  • Send motivational notifications (with your consent)
  • Improve the app based on anonymous analytics

4. Data Storage

Core app data is stored locally on your device. For cross-device sync and account features, we use Supabase (hosted in EU). Health data never leaves your device. Subscription data is handled by RevenueCat.
